Unintentional Injury Two categories of unintentional injury: motor vehicle-related injuries and home and recreation related injuries. Low back pain Common causes of low back pain include lumbar strain, nerve irritation, lumbar radiculopathy, bony encroachment, and conditions of the bone and joints.
